Download the 3D City Database Importer/Exporter
The 3D City Database Importer/Exporter package can be downloaded below. The first zipped folder contains the executable including the required libraries and tools as well as sample CityGML documents. The second zip file contains the Java source code of the 3D City Database Importer/Exporter and the sample CityGML documents. The documentation of the Importer/Exporter is available online only.

If you want to make a full installation of the 3DCityDB software suite, download the installer (executable JAR file) instead from the main download page. Executing that file will start an universal installer wizard that guides you through the installation of the Importer/Exporter including the 3D City Database SQL scripts, the new 3D Web Viewer, documentation, plugins, and example data.
Please note, that the 3D City Database Importer/Exporter can also be executed using the provided Docker container.
Remarks
Java version 11 or higher (e.g. Oracle JDK or OpenJDK) needs to be installed on your system in order to run the Importer/Exporter tool. Please note that starting from version 3.3.x, each version of the Importer/Exporter has a mandatory dependency on specific versions of the 3D City Database package. When connecting to an older version of the 3DCityDB or to an incompatible version, the user will be notified by the importer/exporter tool.
Previous Versions
The installers and source codes for earlier versions of the 3D City Database Importer/Exporter can still be downloaded from the github releases page (going back to version 3.0.0).
The installers and source codes for even older versions can be downloaded using the hyperlinks below. Please note that the Importer/Exporter 1.6 has a mandatory dependency on the 3D City Database 2.1.0 and Importer/Exporter 1.5 (and also 1.4) has a mandatory dependency on the 3D City Database 2.0.6.
